I missed some of the “normal” childhood experiences that most children seem to experience. For example, I never cut my own bangs. I never dyed Easter eggs. I also never tried tie-dying a shirt, so when my friends and I got the chance to do so this past weekend, I knew I couldn’t pass it up. Here’s the breakdown:
Jacket: Ann Taylor LOFT
Jeans: Elle (Kohl’s)
Shoes: Lands’ End
I know this is a relatively simple outfit and not something I’d typically put on my blog; however, my friends and I decided to wear them the next day, and this is the outfit that came about as the result of my tie-dying efforts. As you can see, my tee turned out to be pretty bare, and the purple and orange stripes faded a little once it dried (I promise there’s a lot more color on the tee in real life than in the pictures). I was excited to show off my efforts, though, even if it meant a relatively simple and casual outfit.
