Isn’t it curious that what we deem as probably the prettiest season is the season in which nature is dying? As the trees are preparing for the cold, hard winter, they give life one last hoorah as their leaves burst into colors so glorious that almost seem fake. I like to think that there really is beauty in death. Here’s the breakdown:
Sweater: TJ Maxx (The Limited)
Loafers: Old Navy
Bracelets: Elder Beerman
Bag: Brahmin (c/o Vogue)
My outfit is the result of trying on one dress, realizing it was way too short to be appropriate, grabbing the first thing I could find out of my closet because I only had 15 minutes until class started, and throwing on the easiest-to-reach sweater and flats. What turned into the most thrown-together outfit ever ended up being the perfect focus amid some of my favorite bushes during the fall. Funny how life works out sometimes.
