The Spring Sephora VIB Sale

If you're in the market for some new makeup, hair care, or skincare products, now is the time to jump on those purchases because it's Sephora's spring VIB sale! For the next two weekends, anyone with a Sephora Insider account can get 10–15% off (which is a steal, considering products at Sephora very rarely go on sale). Here are the details you'll need to shop the sale:

  • Rouge: April 13–16 and 20–23 | YAYROUGE for 15% off
  • VIB: April 20–23 | YAYVIB for 15% off
  • Insiders: April 20–23 | YAYINSIDER for 10% off

I'm sharing my picks below, as well as what's on my wish list this sale.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

This hydrating mask made quite the splash all over Instagram, and the before and after pictures have convinced me I need to give this a try.

First, let's talk lip products because those are always a fun indulgence during the sale. My number-one recommendation has to be the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer; this gloss looks good on everyone and is so moisturizing. In a close second are any of Urban Decay's Vice lipsticks. My favorite is Naked, but they have more than 100 shades. Another great shade range is Hourglass' GIRL Lip Stylos (of which I own two, Creator and Influencer, and love both).

If you're looking for a gloss that has a ton of pigment to it, look no further than BareMinerals' GEN NUDE Buttercream Lipgloss. I own a few, but my favorite is Groovy. Be warned, though—these can get a bit gloppy and stringy, so apply sparingly for the best results. Maybe matte is more your jam, so I'd suggest giving one of the new Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipsticks a go. I use S1NGLE, which is a beautiful warm shade for spring. The perfect work lip option is one of Fresh's Sugar Lip Treatments, which comes in shades from clear to a punchy hot pink like the one in these photos (called Tulip).

Sunday Riley The Influencer Clean Long Wear Foundation

Sunday Riley's skincare range is quite buzzed about (the Luna oil is one of my favorite products), so their newly released foundation is a must-try for me.

Second, let's talk face products. I'd recommend splurging on a new foundation, such as the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation (which is my go-to cold-month foundation) or the Erborian BB Crème au Ginseng (which is my go-to warm-month foundation).  A frequent repurchase for me during these sales is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer because it's great for covering under-eye circles and blemishes.

I'd also highly recommend picking up a few splurge products for blush, bronzer, and highlight. I can't stop using Benefit's Galifornia Blush during this time of year, along with the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Moonstone (the perfect gold shade for us pale girls). Another great blush pick is the NARS Blush in Orgasm, a cult classic for very good reason, and if you're looking for a luxury bronzer, my favorite is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light.

Third, let's move on to the more random purchases I'd highly suggest making during this sale. I am in full-on spring fragrance mode, and my favorites for this spring are the Jo Malone London Wood, Sage, & Sea Salt Cologne and the Fresh Sugar Eau de Parfum. I'd also recommend giving the Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner a try; it cleans your eyeshadow brushes and dries almost instantly!

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask

My go-to sleeping mask expired, and I've been on the hunt for another good one. This one has stellar reviews!

Finally, one of my must-haves during this sale is almost always a new eyeshadow palette. If you're like me and in the mood to mix up your eyeshadow game, I'd recommend giving the Viseart Neutral Matte Eyeshadow Palette, Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette, or Huda Beauty Smokey Obsession Palette a try. All three are fantastic, and the Modern Renaissance one is my most-used palette in my collection.

Maybe your wallet isn't willing to take too big of a hit during the sale this time around, so I'd recommend going the individual eyeshadow route with one of Stila's Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows (Kitten Karma and Smoky Storm are both beauts). Another similar formula can be found in the Touch in Sol Metallist Liquid Foil & Glitter Eye Shadow Duo (Talia is the one I own). If subtle and work-appropriate is more your vibe, I'd recommend giving Burberry's Wet & Dry Silk Shadow in Pale Barley a chance; it's a beautiful formula and universal shade.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette

This released a few weeks ago, and I've held off on purchasing it until the sale rolled around. I've only heard good things about it, and I have the feeling it'd give Modern Renaissance a run for its money on usefulness.

What will you be ordering during the sale? I'd love to know your picks and repurchases!
