Project: Workin' Away
I had a wonderful spring break with my family in Nashville, but now that it’s Monday, I need to get back into school and homework mode. Instead of a daily outfit post (lazy weekend and traveling back to school), I decided I’d share my latest projects with you. Yes, projects is indeed plural.
This is the back of a long cardigan I’m knitting. Unfortunately, I probably won’t get to wear it until next fall/winter because the weather is warming up around here and this will be a wool sweater. Isn’t the pattern so intricate and gorgeous?
This is a scarf I started over spring break. My mom and I checked out a few knitting stores in Nashville, and I found this baby alpaca yarn in a beautiful dark honeysuckle color. I’m using a lace pattern, so it looks a little messy right now. After I block the scarf, however, it will look more like delicate lace. I’m so excited!
These are for my next scarf, which I’ll start as soon as I finish the dark honeysuckle one. This will be another lace scarf; they had a sample in the store, and I knew right away that I wanted to knit it.
This is the never-ending scarf because 1) it’s going to be an infinity scarf and 2) it has been taking me forever it knit it. I’ve had the yarn for almost a year, and I’m almost done knitting two of seven skeins of the yarn; needless to say, knitting it is definitely taking awhile. But it will be worth it in the end…whenever the end may be.
Back to regular posts tomorrow. Have a great Monday!
