My May Favorites and Highlights

May was a busy month, what with it being the first full month of my new job, traveling to multiple cities for weddings, and trying to learn to balance it all. In an effort to keep my sanity and keep myself and my relationships healthy, I'm cutting back on blog posts. I'll be posting twice a week and once a month on my YouTube channel (although there might be a few bonus posts and videos every once in a while). Today I'm rounding up my favorite products from May with a new video!

Below are some highlights from the past month; before you read on, though, be sure to pop on over to my YouTube channel to subscribe!

Washington, D.C.

I've never been to D.C. before other than passing through the airport during a layover, so it was fun to explore the city. We were there for a wedding, but we managed to see as many sites as we could. We had to stop by to see The White House, and we also had the most incredible bottomless brunch in Georgetown at a place called El Centro D.F.

Last weekend we headed to Minneapolis for yet another wedding, and I got to check off another city from my must-visit list. We had to make a stop at the Mall of America just to see the classic tourist trap, and I managed to catch up with an old college friend at this tasty brunch spot.

Beautiful Weather

In the midst of some crazy high temperatures and 100% humidity, we've had some lovely weather sprinkled in between those days. Those days have meant eating in our backyard, grilling and smoking meats, and trying new summer drink recipes. I picked up this trio, which make the world's easiest margaritas!

Bring on June!
