New In: Lancôme Miracle Cushion Foundation
About a week ago, I went to Sephora to pick up a few new items I’d had my eye on (including the Clinique BB Cream I mentioned in this post). I’d heard great things about the Lancôme Miracle Cushion Foundation and wanted to try it out 1) because of those reviews and 2) because it came in a shade customized for light skin with cool/pink undertones (which is hard to find in a lot of foundations).
After giving it a try for a week, I wanted to share some brief thoughts with you. In terms of color, I got the shade 110 Ivoire C; I think it’ll work for me in the summer when I have a bit more color to my face, but right now, it’s just a few hairs too dark still (and that’s the lightest color they have available). In terms of formula, it’s oil-free and hasn’t broken me out (yay!). It lasts pretty well all day and doesn’t crease much like heavier foundations do in my smile lines. It’s a dewier finish, so I find I have to use powder to set it. The coverage is sheer-to-medium, so my freckles still manage to make an appearance, particularly as the day goes on.
Overall, I think this foundation, while not my absolute favorite (although I’ll continue to use it until it’s gone), would be great if you have particularly acne-prone or mature skin. It’s dermatologist-tested and pretty good for your skin. You can read more about it here. I love the portability, as it’d be great for traveling during the upcoming summer wedding season.
Do you think you’ll give the new foundation a try? Have you already tried it? Let me know your thoughts!
