Kansas City: A photodiary
Despite the crazy hot temps on Saturday, we spent most of the day walking around the Country Club Plaza (which had a ton of variety). My personal favorites? West Elm and Paper Source — two stores that have yet to come to Omaha (but my fingers are crossed).
We had supper at a Mexican restaurant called Chuys. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was top-notch. I’ll definitely be stopping by again during my next trip to KC.
We just happened to stop in a Mac store while they were promoting their fall line, which was inspired by romance novels. What do you do when the first person who greets you says, “Check out our new products — oh, and we have our very own romance-novel model who’s taking pictures with shoppers today”? You get your picture taken with him. Obviously. Complete with super cheesy romance novel cover.
A sneak peek of some goodies I got while shopping. I am SO ready for fall.
After a long day of shopping and sweating, we were more than ready to chill in our room, indulge in the hotel’s happy hour and take a few pre-dinner pictures. There’s nothing better than a laughter-filled photo session with some stylish and amazing friends.
