January Reading List
There's nothing quite like getting lost in a book on a cold winter day, and so far 2018 has provided a number of very chilly weekends that have allowed me to spend a significant amount of time with my nose buried in a book. My most recent conquest was Laura Dave's Hello Sunshine, which was an addictive read that I'd highly recommend. It seriously had me hooked from the first chapter.
For the rest of the month, I have three books on my must-read list.
- The Singles Game by Lauren Weisberger: I'm currently in the midst of this one about an injured tennis star who makes a pact with a brutal coach who changes her world forever.
- A Window Opens by Elisabeth Egan: The premise of this sounded captivating. A second coming of age novel? I'm in! "Alice realizes the question is not whether it’s possible to have it all but, what does she really want the most?"
- The Wonder by Emma Donoghue: Although I didn't read Room, I found the movie intriguing, so I figured I'd give another one of the author's works a try. It's called "a tale of two strangers who transform each other's lives, a powerful psychological thriller, and a story of love pitted against evil."
