The Prettiest (and Most Affordable) Bras

Something I think we rarely talk about as women are bras . . . and yet for most of us, it’s something we use on a daily basis and something that can be so incredibly frustrating to find that fits well. After spending much of my high school and college days sporting either sports bras or t-shirt bras, I decided to take a step more toward lingerie in my twenties, and after many years of suffering through itchy lace or uncomfortable underwires, I think I’ve finally found the perfect bra for me. Bonus: It’s wallet-friendly.

Meet the Unlined Lace Bra by Gilligan O’Malley from Target. I didn’t use to like unlined bras, but these ones changed my mind. They work well under t-shirts, blouses, sweaters—they manage to look smooth under the trickiest materials, even when it’s a bit chilly (if you get my drift). I wear a 36 or 38 B (hello, large rib cage), and these fit true to size. I prefer to buy 38Bs in these, and they’re comfortable both in the band and in the material. The best part? They’re only $16.99 each and, if I’m not mistaken, are on sale for an extra 15% off today only. They have new colors that come out each season, so I’m fully stocked up on autumn and winter colors.

They wash well, too, when washed on a delicate cycle in a lingerie bag. For such an affordable price, they’re beautiful pieces to add to your everyday wardrobe and won’t drain your wallet.

OK, so now that I’ve shared my favorite bra with you, I want to hear what your favorite brand and style is. Please share!
