Daily: Animal Accent

Today seemed to be errand day with a bonus shopping trip, which included finding a belt, two necklaces, and two rings for only $11. I’m such a sucker for good deals. Be prepared for these new additions to my jewelry wardrobe to infiltrate the outfit posts. Here’s the breakdown:

Shirt: Walmart
Shorts: Garage sale (Tommy Hilfiger)
Leopard Flats: Payless Shoe Source
Bag: Goodwill
Watch: Garage sale
Necklace: Gift
Sunglasses: Aeropostale
Stud Earrings: Garage sale/Peebles

Way back when I was a junior in high school, I had a pair of leopard flats I adored, so much so that even when it was a little hard to tell what print was actually on them, I still wore them. Then this past year at college, I decided I needed to do a little cleaning out of my closet to fit all my clothes into my very small closet. Goodbye, leopard flats. Then I found new ones at Payless for $7! Shoe bliss is what I call an experience like that. The great thing about leopard print is that it completely dismisses the “rule” that you could not mix black and brown. I think those two colors are quite chic together; leopards only prove my point.

Also, I have an obsession with tees that have pockets on them. It’s a little hard to tell with the black, but there is indeed a pocket on my shirt. I found some at Gap recently and bought multiple colors (they were on sale - no worries).

Check out the new page for my garage sale tips and tricks. I love hearing stories about great finds and experiences while garage saling, so please share! Also, if you would be so kind as to recommend me for Tumblr Tuesday, I’d really appreciate it!
