As you can see, our family’s Christmas tree is up. My mom is so smart because every year when we take down the tree, she makes sure the lights stay strung on it, which makes putting it up each year easy. And it helps prevent family fights that are sure to come from putting up the tree…putting up the lights. Wait, what am I saying? Our family never gets into fights about silly stuff like that. (That was sarcasm, by the way.) Here’s the breakdown:
Dress: Elder Beerman
Sweater Vest: Goodwill
Sweater Leggings: TJ Maxx
Riding Boots: Shi by Journeys
Bracelets: Garage sale/my grandma’s
While short sleeves might not be the smartest choice during winter, I am happy to say that I managed to survive. I knew I wanted to wear my sweater vest today, and so I was inspired also to wear my sweater leggings, which were ridiculously warm. Note to self: wear sweater leggings more often during the chilly winter. Another note to self: don’t wear your riding boots, which have absolutely no traction whatsoever, when there is snow or ice on the ground.
