The Eyeshadow I've Reached for Every Day this Week

You know those weeks that seem to crawl by so slowly? That was my entire month of January. I posted on Instagram earlier this week that I received some tough news, and while I'd rather keep that personal for the moment, let's just say it has honestly made getting out of bed this week tough. As a result, I've really looked forward to my time putting on my makeup and have considered it my pampering sessions this week. As silly as it sounds, a little sparkle can go a long way to lift my mood. Enter the perfect remedy and mood-buster:

I've been reaching for "Spark," which is a warm sparkling champagne.

Not only is the Butter London Glazen Eye Gloss everything a shimmer-lover will want, but the formula is truly one-of-a-kind. It's almost a jelly, jiggly consistency that is strangely satisfying to apply. I use my fingers for all-over application, and for detail work (such as lining under my eyes) a brush works well. The sparkly goo smooths over the lid easily, and it dries to an immovable formula within seconds. This results in little to no transfer to other areas of the lid, which is quite the feat for any eyeshadow formula. I currently own "Spark," but next on my list to try are "Oil Slick" and "Moonshine."

I hope you're having a good start to February, and if not, pick up one of these temporary mood-lifters!
