Spring Lip Update
Last week I was in the mood for a serious spring makeup update (which you'll see more of in tomorrow's video on my YouTube channel), so I placed an order with Sephora . . . because that's what beauty addicts do. Bite Beauty recently released their updated lipstick formula and line, Amuse Bouche, and it is a massive release with tons of colors in quite possibly the best variety I've ever seen. (The food/cooking TV junkie in me loves the name of the new line.)
I was immediately drawn to the color Fig, which is described as a nude rose. The formula is incredible; it's slightly matte and creamy, but it's long-wearing and lasts me a good eight hours without having to touch up (even after I've sipped on my afternoon latte). Fig is an interesting tone because if you pair it with a darker lip liner, it turns quite mauve/plum, but if you pair it with a lighter lip liner, it's a true rose tone. I'm dying to try a few other colors (Meringe and Gingersnap—I'm lookin' at you!).
