Battling the wind
Today has been yet another windy day (quite possibly windier than yesterday). I might not have made the best decision in choosing to wear a dress, but at least my dress was relatively form-fitting. Other girls on campus took advantage of the burst of warm weather and wore flouncy skirts and were walking around with their skirts clenched in their fists. Good choice, Caitlin. Me: 1. Wind: 0. Here’s the breakdown:
Blazer: Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s
Flats: Enzo Angiolini via Goodwill
Bag: Brahmin (c/o Vogue)
Watch: Garage sale
Bracelets: DIY/LOFT/Garage sale
The longer I have this dress, the more versatile it becomes. Its cost-per-wear is easily down to 50 cents, considering I paid about $7 for it in-store and have worn it at least 14 times since then. The one common thread in wearing this dress is that I always seem to pair it with leopard shoes, whether it’s my crazy leopard bootie wedges or these “sloafers” (slipper-like loafers). I love my animal print.
