About the time I ventured outside to have my photos taken, the snow began falling and the wind kicked up. If you had snow being whipped in your face, you wouldn’t have smiling, happy pictures, either. Instead, you’d have pictures like the ones above — the ones where you’re attempting to smile but the snow is stinging your face and getting in your eyes so the result is more perplexed and angry than happy and style-blogger-y. Here’s the breakdown:
Blouse (underneath): New York & Company via Goodwill
Jeans: Old Navy
Bag: Brahmin (c/o Vogue)
Bracelet and Necklace: Elder Beerman
Nothing like a little winter weather to make a girl want to add a little sheen and shine to her outfits. The pictures don’t do the sweater justice, but it has quite a nice sparkle knitted throughout it. I played off the sparkle with the sheen of my blouse; I am such a sucker for a black-and-brown pattern like the one on this blouse. Both tops were recent Black Friday thrifting acquisitions.
