I had to say a very sad goodbye over the weekend to the tube of my all-time favorite mascara, which I didn't think could be knocked from its holy-grail status in my makeup collection. Next on my list of mascaras to try was one I purchased during the spring's Nordstrom Mascara Madness sale: Charlotte Tilbury's Legendary Lashes. I'd heard mixed reviews on this mascara and her previous mascara . . . but I am 100% on board with this mascara.
I look for two things in a mascara: volume and length. From the get-go I've been so impressed with its performance. One coat looks va-va-voom, and two coats are verging on false-lash territory. The brush is really full and thick, which I think helps make the lashes look full and thick. The formula doesn't seem to flake off or transfer throughout the day or night either—bonus!
If you're looking for a new mascara, I'd say give this one a go for sure. It'll cost you a pretty penny (unless you wait for the next mascara madness sale), but if legendary lashes are the result without the fuss of putting on false ones, it's worth it.
