A 'Pretty' Versatile Palette
When I was in Cincinnati a few weeks ago for some friends' wedding, I finagled my way into a Sephora trip and was pleasantly surprised to see a Ciate London display (something that isn't carried in any of the Omaha stores). I'd heard great things about their new eyeshadow palettes, and since I'd tried and loved their palette collaborations with Olivia Palermo, I wanted to pick up one of the new ones. My choice? The Pretty Palette.
I debated between the Pretty Palette, the Fearless Palette, and the Fun Palette, but when push came to shove, I went for the one that seemed the most versatile to me. In the Pretty Palette, there's a great mix of shimmers and mattes—all in neutrals. The formula is very comparable to the other Ciate palettes I've tried; all the shadows are highly pigmented, very blendable, and quite soft and buttery. What I love most about this palette, though, is its versatility; the top row is quite cool-toned, and the bottom row is quite warm-toned. You really get the best of both worlds in this palette. It's pretty, and it's versatile—my kind of palette.
