The New Innovative Approach to Lip Color
If you're a long-time reader of my blog, my love of lip oils will be no surprise to you. (You can find evidence here.) They're like glosses but 100 times more nourishing for your lips, so it's no surprise I keep a stash on my vanity and on my desk. The newest one I've added to the bunch? Lancome's Juicy Shaker in Piece of Cake.
First off, the packaging of the new juicy shakers is so stinkin' cute. A lip oil that looks like a martini shaker? I'm hooked already. Second, their array of colors available for purchase is seriously impressive; there's something for every skin tone and shade. (Piece of Cake is reminiscent of the "your lips but better" shade.) Third, the formula is lightweight but packs a punch. You have to shake the oil to get it to mix with the pigment, and after you've applied the oil (which isn't thick and goopy but is a nice, light oil) and it wears away after a few hours, you're left with pigment on your lips, a la "I just ate a popsicle and my lips are stained." It's a truly, beautiful new innovate approach to lip color.
Next on my list: the bright blue Mint to Be shade (that goes on sheer but is supposed to give your teeth an added boost of whiteness).
