Tartelette Palette Showdown
I love a good neutral palette, both in my wardrobe and in my cosmetics drawers. If you're a neutral makeup lover like I am, I'd highly suggest checking out the two Tartelette palettes: the original and the in bloom version.
If you're in to cool tones or mattes, you'll want to check out the original Tartelette palette. It's not completely cool-toned, but most of the shades lean toward neutral and the cooler side of things. I find that I use the middle row the most, which holds the pink and purple shades. It's funny because I'm not usually a purple eyeshadow user (because I feel it clashes too much with my blue eyes), but the purple tones in this palette almost verge on brown at times. Out of all the neutral matte palettes I own, this is the one I reach for consistently. The shadows are all top-notch, blendable, and pigmented.
If warmer tones are more your thing, the Tartelette 2 In Bloom palette will be right up your alley. This palette has a nice mix of shimmers and mattes, along with some slightly more orange- and red-toned shadows that will really complement olive skin tones beautifully. Just like the original, the shadows are blendable and pigmented—minus one shade: Funny Girl. That shade doesn't perform as well as the rest of its companions, but if you can get past it, it really is a gorgeous palette.
So tell me: Which of the two palettes are you most likely to go for?
